Tax Manager-Hedge Fund and Real Estate Private Equity

Our client, a Los Angeles based Global Investment Advisor managing multi-strategy hedge funds, real estate partnerships and emerging markets fund strategies, is seeking a Tax Manager.  The Tax Manager will have domestic and international responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities Include:  

· Help prepare corporate tax returns

· Prepare SPV tax returns

· Complete Corporate Tax Projections

· Perform SPVs for foreign investing

· Correspond with the Singapore and London offices

· Project the percentage of completion vs. completed contracts

· Issue partnership agreements-Joint Venture

· Correspond with corporate entities in multiple tax jurisdictions, including some international exposure

· Prepare State tax estimates for joint ventures and corporate entities.

 

Qualifications Include:

· Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from a top tier University; 3.5 GPA or higher

· CPA a must

· 5-7 years experience with a background in Real Estate

· Familiarity with both GAAP and tax

· Experience with 261A calculations and state tax issues

· Familiarity with Luxembourg entity and FIN48.
