Production Assistant

This position is responsible for the population and management of graphic art files in a timely and accurate manner. It has been designed to support the Premedia process, enabling the team to meet production deadlines. This position is located at our Dodgeville Premedia Center and reports directly to the Site Manager, working closely with our Customer and Premedia team. There will be one position on first shift and one on second shift.Responsibilities will include: - Query and download files from the customer databases.- Populate and manage files on our production servers and databases.- Input project information into FileMaker Pro database to ensure accurate and timely tracking of all project related information.- Ensure each project has all the necessary components to provide efficient flow through production.Qualifications- Accuracy is critical to this position as it directly impacts every project.- Must be able to maintain a high level of organization in a fast paced environment.- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.- Must be able to interact with applications and data on a Macintosh platform.- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.- Graphic Arts experience preferred, but not required.
