Industry leader is seeking a Senior Accountant to work under the direction of the Accounting Manager in the US Corp HQ. If this is of interest to you, read on.Duties:·Prepare and evaluate financial information, determine variances and trends and report to management.·Responsible for the quality, timeliness and integrity of financial data.·Prepare month-end journal entries, including amortizations, accruals and re-classes.·Compile and analyze business activity data to prepare journal entries.·Reconcile and analyze various balance sheet and expense accounts.·Provide financial analysis and written reports to management or other departments as required.·Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.·Maintain fixed asset records and run depreciation reports.·Prepare sales tax returns.·Prepare property tax statements.Educational/Experience Requirements:·Minimum 5-7 years related experience in general accounting.·BA or BS degree in Accounting.·CPA preferred.
