CITY/STATE: 80127POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/InsuranceEDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's DegreeSALARY: 45,000.00 - 50,000.00 USD /year Billing and Collections Supervisor     Description Ledgent is currently seeking an experienced leader for its clients Accounting department.  This individual must possess solid communication, analytical and supervisory skills.  Candidate must possess a BS in Accounting or Finance and have 2-3 years accrual-bases accounting experience.  3-5 years of Supervisory experience in customer service and data entry environment is a must. RequirementsMust have knowledge of accrual-based accounting and the proper controls that are involved in the billing and collections processes. Ability to identify issues, communicate such issues to supervisor with recommended solutions, and take the initiative to resolve problems on a timely basis Show an aptitude for leading others in terms of giving guidance to Billing Specialists Requires the ability to prioritize projects, tasks, and activities in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask and possess a high level of organizational skills Must be a self-starter who possesses attention to detail Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets as well as a familiarity with Windows (any version), Microsoft Office Suite of products, and familiar with using web-based application systems.
