Position Description:

The Cash Desk is responsible for managing cash in client accounts. The team works closely with the Portfolio Management group to determine cash needs and either invests excess cash or raises cash to facilitate purchases. The Cash Desk has direct interaction with Portfolio Managers, Account Managers, Clients, State Street IMS and Custodian Banks.  Qualified Candidate will be responsible for supervising the cash management process.  Candidate must possess a Bachelors degree and have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience and prior supervising experience.  Prior cash management experience is a plus.  They should be highly motivated, self starters who work well independently as well as in a global team environment.  The individual should be flexible and comfortable in shifting workload in accordance with changing priorities.

 

ResponsibilitiesSupervise a group of 8 associatesMonitor the cash management process throughout the dayGenerate and analyze daily management and audit reportsReview ways to automate and enhance current processesMultiple ad hoc reports and requests Work with Clients, Account Managers and Portfolio Management group in regards to client directed cash contributions and withdrawals. Work with Short Term traders to invest excess cash or raise cashWork with Custodians and Accounting group in reconciling cash balances and resolving discrepancies
