Conveniently located in southwest Colorado Springs, our office space is professional and well appointed. The office environment includes large private offices and a relaxed working atmosphere with a strong support staff.


About the Position:


We are currently seeking a seasoned CPA/Accountant on a full time basis during tax season and on a flex-time basis for the rest of the year. The position best suits someone who likes having time available for family, travel, hobbies or other pursuits during the off season. The primary responsibilities for the position would include:Preparing and reviewing income tax returns to include individual, Corporation, S-Corporation, Partnership and Fiduciary returns Tax planning Perform tax research on various issues utilizing electronic databases Tax compliance Preparing and reviewing compiled and reviewed financial statements Perform research of SFAS/GAAP related issues The position is best suited for full-time during tax season and part-time for the remainder of the year

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following:
Over 10 years of certified public accounting experience and be a certified public accountant Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and income tax laws Have strong written and verbal communications skills Understand deadlines and be deadline-oriented Possess strong decision making skills and be a self starter, have the ability to work independently Have superior analytical skills Have the ability to work additional hours during the peak periods with the opportunity for a flex schedule during non-peak periods Have a passion for quality, strong attention to detail, be highly ethical, self directed and a results oriented individual Have the desire to become a trusted advisor to the clients you serve
