STRATEGIC FINANCE ANALYST OPPORTUNITYPay rate: $68.00/Hr.PasadenaContract, Full TimeHours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, related field. Masters degree preferred. Five or more years related experience in working with Spend Baselines, pricing comparisons, creating monthly summaries on spending Extensive hands-on experience in Excel (Pivots, Macros, Vlookups), Access, and extremely strong GAAP. Strong technical knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database architectures, data modeling and mining and forecasting. Experience overseeing the incorporation of detailed information into hundreds of interrelated spreadsheets. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:· Identifies researches and prepares evaluations on a variety of complex and diverse projects (Financial, statistical, operational and cost/benefits analysis.· Develops models, collects and evaluates data, make appropriate assumptions, analyzes results and makes recommendations. · Serve as subject matter expert in data modeling, mining and database management for corporate research and the organization.· Design databases that capture data to segment customers, quantify segments and analyze customers’ response to marketing programs.· Able to explain the results of complex analysis to management across all levels.· Work closely on cross functional corporate teams (including Business Intelligence, Procurement, Strategy, Advertising and Marketing) to scope and execute data mining / modeling projects.· Develop standard and custom reports utilizing data warehouse information.· Responsible for report generation, analysis of results and communication of insights to the organization.· Frame strategic questions and use data to formulate a strategic plan for next steps.· Meet with internal corporate research customers to determine research needs and help teams define actionable goals.· Ensure company’s growth in understanding customer behavior.· Ensure projects are executed on-time and within budget. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:· Strong comfort level with computer systems supporting database marketing.· Team-oriented, successful relationship builder.· Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.· Proven success managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.  Rashida M.
