General Accounting Coordinator
The Charter Oak Chapter of the American Red Cross serves eighty three towns in Central and Southeastern Connecticut, providing relief to victims of disasters and helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
Currently we are seeking a General Accounting Cooridinator to work in our Farmington office, Mon - Fri 9:00am - 2:30pm, 25 hours per week. Responsibilities include: A/P processing and payments, A/R processing and collections, cash receipts and making weekly deposits, processing credit card transactions, ordering supplies, maintaining vendor files, reconciling monthly statements.
Requires an Associate degree in Accounting and 3 to 5 years related work experience, or an eqivalent combination of both. Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, have strong time management and organizational skills, strong computer skills and knowledge of excel.
Pay rate will be dependent upon training and experience and starts at $15.00+ per hour,Includes benefits: paid time off and access to medical and dental insurance!
