Investment Bank Accounting Manager
An expanding, international, investment bank in downtown San Francisco is in need of an Accounting Manager. This is a highly involved position that reports to the Assistant Controller and manages a staff of three accountants. While there are many aspects to this role with primary responsibilities being as follows: manage performance of corporate accounting for cash, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition; manage accounting for non-cash employee compensation; oversee various aspects of monthly close; SOX and SEC compliance and reporting; assist the FP&A division; manage and develop accounting staff. International responsibilities will be to manage the accounting for two foreign subsidiaries.Qualified candidates will have 5 plus years of public and/or private accounting experience with at least 3 years of personnel management experience. Other qualifications include: proven success in a detail oriented, deadline driven environment; high attention to detail; ability to identify issues, make recommendations and implement solutions; exposure to a multi-currency environment. Experience within the investment banking industry, Big Four CPA, and Oracle Experience are also preferred.
