We are currently seeking a Manager to join us in our Los Angeles office. KPMG's Cost Segregation Tax Services practice is a resource for clients that need help complying with the latest IRS rules and regulations. Our tax professionals who handle federal tax issues bring the experience and commitment necessary to deliver tax compliance and advisory services to help meet our clients' specific needs. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the coordination and production of cost segregation reports * Analyze construction cost data and design drawings * Coordinate and collect information from building owners, architects, engineers and contractors * Participate in area marketing and assisting with marketing to potential clients * Mentor and train the tax staff Qualifications: *Five years of experience in performing cost segregation or valuation studies * Familiarity with construction design and construction processes * Strong knowledge of building systems * Able to work with, and manage, various staff level team members in order to serve existing clients * Knowledge of the federal income tax depreciation aspects * Knowledge of and desire to gain fixed asset reporting systems knowledge * Experience in project budgeting and accounting * Able to communicate effectively with client personnel and other KPMG professionals * BA/BS degree in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, structural engineering or mechanical engineering from an accredited college/university * Able to travel KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
