Manager, External Reporting

We are currently seeking a Manager of External Reporting for our client company.  This is a challenging position requiring attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.  Responsibilities include:

*  Timely and accurate SEC filings / reporting (10K, 10Q, 11K)
*  Researching new accounting standards
*  Coordination of external reporting requirements with investor relations, legal, treasury, corporate accounting, tax and FP&A
*  Preparation of stand alone financial statements
*  Preparation of government forms
*  Policy and procedure maintenance, SOX compliance
*  Continuous improvement of external reporting process and procedures

This position requires a candidate with extensive knowledge of SEC and SOX requirements.  Strong attention to detail and communication skills are a must.  Other requirements of a successful candidate include:

*  Bachelor degree in Accounting;  MBA or Master or Accountancy strongly preferred
*  CPA required
*  8+ years SEC reporting experience
*  3+ years in public accounting with medium to large size clients
*  SAP and BPC experience
*  Benefit plan and ERISA experience
*  Experience in the construction industry is helpful
*  Must have strong research and analytical skills
*  Extensive US GAAP knowledge
*  Ability to multi-task and take ownership of projects
