Payroll Administrator, LEGOLAND California Resort

The Payroll Administrator position at LEGOLAND California Resort is a new job opportunity within our Human Resources department. This position will: administer employee payroll and expense reports; maintain and update payroll records; prepare expense report journal entries ; maintain all employee time and attendance records and track employee accruals;  generate payroll, expense, time and attendance reports for internal use.  This position will report to the Payroll and Benefits Supervisor.

Requirements

Requires at least three years of progressive professional level experience within a payroll or accounting role.  Industry experience in a theme park, hotel or resort, retail operation or restaurant is preferred.  Must have strong payroll knowledge, Ceridian payroll system and Crystal report experience is preferred. Must be detail oriented and have excellent analytical and organizational skills.  Requires the ability to self initiate work and work under minimal supervision.  Must have effective project management skills to coordinate efforts and work effectively with other departments.  Requires strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.  Must have the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and interact cooperatively with others in the organization.  Requires excellent computer skills with strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.  A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or closely related field (or equivalent education and experience) is helpful.
