SENIOR PENSION BENEFIT PROCESSOR

We are currently seeking an experienced Pension Processor for our downtown San Francisco office.  Duties include:

- independently processing routine and complex defined benefit and defined contribution pension applications and inquiries on assigned plans with minimal assistance

- independently processing Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDRO’s), including oral and written communications with attorneys for the parties and the Plans

- responding to telephone calls and written requests from participants, unions and Trustees

- disbursing checks and balancing check registers

- preparing various trust and statistical reports

- monitoring suspension of benefits cases

- coordinating Plan year and calendar year-end reporting.

- implementing plan interpretations and changes.

- assisting other staff with questions pertaining to plan rules and interpretations.

all while meeting the defined customer service and teamwork agreements. 

 

Requires high school diploma or equivalent; three to five years of pension, bookkeeping, benefits or closely related experience through which you have demonstrated the ability to handle multiple deadlines, work independently and to resolve routine problems with minimal supervision; effective oral and written communication skills; good math ability including experience or education in bookkeeping or accounting theory; ability to use a 10-key and type at least 45 wpm.  This is an hourly position with a 35-hour work week under an office workers union contact.  Zenith offers a convenient downtown location, a pleasant atmosphere, excellent benefits including pension plan and 401(k) with match, generous paid time off and more!  For consideration, email resume, referencing Job #184-2008, to careers@zenithadmin.com or fax to (415) 536-8212, www.zenithadmin.com, EOE
