Purchasing Coordinator

Private Diagnostic Medical provider is looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to provide purchasing duties across their network of Southern California imaging locations.

Under the supervision of the Controller, this position will provide purchasing support and inventory management duties for all business units. This position will support the efforts of the Senior Purchasing Agent and accounting team to ensure a high efficiency, cost effective, service oriented purchasing system is adhered to. Position will also be charged with requisition tracking, coordinate general facility maintenance orders and other duties as directed by the Controller or authorized management.

Minimum Education: Associates degree (AA) in Business Administration. In lieu of degree, purchasing and/or accounting experience of 3-4 years in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Skill and Experience: * 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the medical

   environment. * Exceptional customer service skills required. * Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office – Excel and Word. * Great Plains Dynamics and/or automated purchasing software 

   experience a plus. * Familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Internet mobility. * 10-key proficiency and accuracy. * Basic math skills. Physical Requirements: o Ongoing keyboarding and computer work. o Ability to remain seated for extended periods. o Frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds. o Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
