A finance and accounting software and services firm located in downtown D.C. has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Assistant.  This newly created position will support the SVPs of Sales and Marketing in growing the business through target marketing and adding new customers.

 

Description

As the Sales and Marketing Assistant, you will provide day-to-day support for all sales and marketing activities. You will support and manage marketing campaigns, conduct internet research, and act as an interface with our marketing firm for developing the messaging and materials that we use to communicate with our prospects in different markets. Lead generation is key to our company so you will be involved with the maintenance of lead prospect lists, following up and qualifying leads, and making sure there is a hand-off and transition of qualified leads to the sales process. In support of the sales process, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and support of client presentations and maintaining the client presentation database. You may also provide assistance with new client and account management tasks related to contracting, billing, and customer service.

· Microsoft Windows (Win2K+)

· Microsoft Office 2007 and 2008

· CRM systems (Salesforce.com a plus)

· Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

· Social Media and Bloglines

 

Salary

Salary is based on experience.
