Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

An international financial services organization with a strong presence here in the greater Sacramento area has a rare opening for a senior accountant with a strong background in financial reporting.  This is a great opportunity to gain international exposure with unlimited opportunity for growth.  As part of a team, the senior accountant will participate in the financial reporting process, including: -SEC 10Q/K filings -Management reporting (budget vs. actual for 10+ cost centers) -GAAP and IFRS reporting and compliance -High level, complex reconciliations -Process/procedure implementation, review and compliance -Variance research and resolution -Call ReportRequirements: -A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration is required -Experience working in financial services -Prior SEC filing experience -Experience with a large system such as Peoplesoft, Oracle, or SAP is desired -Experience with a Business Intelligence tool, such as Hyperion or Business Objects is a plus -Intermediate to advanced ExcelCandidates meeting the above qualifications will be contacted immediately for an in person interview.  Accountants Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
