The organization is built around 6 independent business units, each with a P & L mission and IPO opportunity. Calculates commission/incentive award payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions. Performs staff support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas. Reviews commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness. Able to verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of commission payments as outlined in the plan. Resolves reconciliation issues. Typically maintains or audits information needed to track revenue. May analyze sales performance results, prepare commission expense reports, presentations and recommendations for sales and/or finance management. May contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data. May perform cost analysis or modeling of alternative commission/incentive plan design or quota levels.The individual will be responsible for administration of various Global Sales compensation plans for the Americas Sales force. The job requires analysis of key financial data, reconciling and reporting transactions for purposes of payment as well as for revenue versus target performance tracking. This position reports to the Director of Compensation Accounting.Job Functions:1. Effectively and efficiently administer Global sales compensation plans.2. Heavy emphasis on compliance with the plans and establishd SOX documentation.3. Process is manual and requires documentation and proper audit trail.4. Validate and audit monthly reports for accuracy, completeness and consistency.5. Track and record Sales territory/customer assignments and customer account splits.6. Generate commissionable or net revenue information by retrieving, consolidating and managing large, unfiltered data.7. Prepare and reconcile individual and/or team statements.8. Report revenue achieved versus target as well as commission/bonus payments.9. Analyze calculations, bonus payments, accruals, and historical information.10. Assist with budget, expense, quota and compensation plan analysis.11. Provides and communicates resolution of compensation issues.12. Educate plan participants as this position is a Subject Matter Expert.13. Develop and maintain an effective process.Other:1. Responsible for commission and bonus payments for 800+ individuals.2. The accuracy of calculations is essential due to responsibility to Payroll and Sales.3. Timeliness and accuracy of information is required by Management in order to track Account, Rep, District and Region performance.4. Inaccurate and untimely information has a negative impact on Sales Rep morale and business focus.5. The nature of the information is very sensitive and CONFIDENTIAL.6. Support of US, Canada and Lain America colleagues.7. Little to no business travel as this is a headquarters position.8. Will be required to work overtime and weekends to meet aggressive deadlines.9. No Direct reports. Primary Qualifications:1. BS/BA in Accounting or Finance.2. Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Compensation.3. Strong Oracle Financials experience required.4. Strong interpersonal skills required.5. Strong Analytical and problem solving skills required.6. Strong time management and organizational skills.7. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.8. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and Powerpoint.9. Requires a collaborative and team-oriented attitude working with HR, Finance, and Sales organizations.Calculates commission/incentive award payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions. Performs staff support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas.
