Responsible for business decision and budget development support. Gathers, analyzes, interprets and prepares recommendations for financial plans, future requirements and operating forecasts. Manages the activities of finance staff and ensures accurate transaction processing. Provides relevant fiscal information and advice to management team. Monitors department adherence to budget, policy and financial initiatives. Job Overview: Reporting directly to the VP Finance, Global Services, this individual will provide primary financial support to the VP/GM of Professional Services (GSS), FP&A support for all of Global Services (GS), and provide business support across GS.The position will be a key member of the Professional Services executive staff, providing end-to-end financial support on organizational and operational strategies, working closely with the regions to drive global consistency of operational and financial processes, and ensure worldwide financial compliance (VSOE, SOX) for Professional Services.In addition, this individual will work closely with the Global Services executive staff providing FP&A support and coordinating overall WW and regional planning activities for GS. This position will also lead business support activities spanning across all of GS.Job Functions. :1. Financial leadership for Professional Services new service introductions, business planning, investment analysis, labor strategies, pricing, and global service metrics ' partnering closely with the regions (40%)2. Financial planning, reporting and analysis for the Global Services organization (Customer Support, Professional Services and Managed Services). Responsible for leading the ongoing consolidation and production of financial results, management scorecards, analysis and interpretation of financials, and worldwide and regional planning coordination (20%)3. Financial leadership for Professional Services VSOE compliance. Ensuring we have ongoing globally consistent processes and tools to support compliance (20%)4. Cross GS projects and leadership. This will include the leadership of establishing business cases for IT enhancement projects, leveraging existing processes and capabilities to drive global processes, and improving the analytical analysis and understanding of operational and financial information. Initial focus will be on driving the overall business performance scorecard/metrics, the financial alignment and accountability of the GS business results and the globalization of our call center (20%) Primary Qualifications (include skills, years of experience, education, knowledge, etc.):' 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience. ' Prefer a minimum of 2 years management experience.' Strong leadership, communication, collaboration and change management skills.' Experience working in a worldwide role, supporting VP's, working in a matrix environment and partnering with the regions.' +2 years of professional services financial experience. Includes familiarity with services revenue recognition and VSOE.' Familiarity with service workflow systems used within a professional services environment.' Experience with SOX requirements and implementation of control processes.' Competent with Microsoft Office application suite, including strong MS Excel skills.' Knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion experience desired.' BS or BA in Finance or AccountingOther: Include span of control (# of direct reports), budget control, scope of influence, impact of errors, physical requirements, travel and any other important factors.' Support a GS organization in excess of $600M annually.' Direct support and interaction with VP's and Directors at a WW and Region level.' Indirect reporting relationship with your regional counterparts.' Travel of 10%-15%.
