CITY/STATE: Phoenix, AZ 85016POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/InsuranceSALARY: 85,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD /yearREFERENCE CODE: PX-SPTAXCOM Senior Tax Compliance Analyst-Domestic and International     Rapidly growing company has created a new Tax position to assist with the domestic and foreign tax compliance.  The main responsibilities include the following:   Work with outside tax firms to compile data for and to prepare domestic and foreign tax returns, shareholder reports, etc.  Develop, review, & update tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and local foreign tax laws and accounting requirements Research domestic and international tax issues including issues related to taxation of payments to independent contractors and cash repatriations Assist with any federal, state and foreign audit inquiries Assist with resolution of sales tax compliance and audit issues Assist with researching tax compliance issues related to new market set up and operation.  Taxes include income tax, import duties, sales taxes (VAT, GST or other country specific taxes), payroll taxes and requirements for withholding and reporting on payments to vendors and independent contractors, cash repatriation, etc. Assist with post-expansion review of foreign tax compliance to ensure proper implementation and documentation of financial, accounting and tax procedures and compliance with local tax (including transfer pricing) requirements Create and analyze reports and ensure financial information has been recorded and reported to US and foreign tax authorities accurately and consistently with financial/operational/tax structures.  Assist in drafting, implementing, revising and updating as necessary intercompany agreements to support financial, operational and tax planning objectives.  REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting CPA/Master's Tax is a plus 5+ years tax experience- Big 4 is a plus International tax is preferred Please send your resume to Sharon Pierantozzi at spierantozzi@ledgent.com About Ledgent Search Group Ledgent Search Group specializes in the placement of Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Audit professionals with top companies in every industry nationwide.
