Solid Senior Accountant Needed

This Growing international non-profit organization is looking for a "Solid" Senior Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. Do you enjoy working for the greater cause? Then this is the place for you. Primary duties will be grants and subcontract administration in a nonprofit environment. Duties will include assisting program staff in the development of proposal budgets and supporting documentation; negotiating award terms and monitoring compliance with award terms, entering approved program budgets and modifications into accounting system, developing and maintaining tracking system for milestones; technical, financial and other reporting; and renewals and extensions. Additional responsibilities will be to provide guidance to staff to ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and policies including FAR interpretation and financial reporting to the government.- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. - 5+ yrs. experience with grant accounting and contracts management; non-profit, government-funded organization experience a plus.- Demonstrated knowledge of FAR, agency FAR Supplements, and Federal Travel regulations.- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.- Experience with USAID grants and cooperative agreements highly desirable.- CPA or CPA candidate preferred Accountants Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
