Electronic Shipping/Receiving Experts call (262)792-132Description: The essence of this position will be working on the shipping and receiving dock the majority of the day performing various receiving, inspection of electronic components and quality assurance related tasks. Our customer is committed to providing quality, cost-effective manufactured products. They provide full assembly services including everything from quick turn prototypes, pre-production and full production runs, single sided PCB with few components, multi-layer or double sided with thousands of components. The best candidate will need to represent a "willingness to do what it takes" attitude and demonstrated experience with these tools: Calipers, Micrometers, electronic test equipment such as LCR meters, DVM's (digital voltmeter), Microscopes.In addition knowledge of the following are also to be demonstrated on the resume: Ability to solder, Read color code, Read component markings, evaluate PCB assemblies for solder joints acceptability, parts placement, industry standards IPC-A-610C and IPC-A-600, ESD Counter-measures, Microsoft Word and Excel, read assembly drawings, inspection drawings, proficiently use the Receiving and Inspection modules of the current MRP system.Use applicable documentation to perform all required inspections on various electronic components and sub-assemblies. This includes, but is not limited to: Printed circuit boards. Cable assemblies. Sub-assemblies. Hardware. Enclosures, both metal and plastic. Complete all documentation as required. This includes but is not limited to: Data entry. Inspection reports. Test results. Rejected Material Notices. Other duties include, but are not limited to: Perform other inspection duties. Assist with stockroom tasks as directed by the Purchasing Manager. Assist the purchasing department with expediting orders.
