Wind Division Site Safety Officer

Our Wind Program is currently seeking a Wind Division Site Safety Officer for our Glenrock, WY site.   Requirements: Construction experience 5-10 years. Safety experience 2-5 years. Ability to work in harsh environmental conditions (summer heat, Winter cold). Physically able to climb 110 yard towers multiple times per day and comfortable with working at extreme heights. Proficient with documentation using MS office suite. Highly motivated self starter with a strong ability to communicate effectively with people of all education levels.  Responsibilities: Prepares health and safety plans and Activity Hazard Analyzes in accordance with the Corporate Safety and Health Program, client requirements and applicable governmental regulations. Work experience can be substituted for education above high school at 2 years directly applicable experience for 1 year of schooling. Conducts safety briefings and site-specific training for on-site personnel. Conducts ESQ evaluations in client facilities and provides ESQ services to clients under the direction of a designated and more senior ESQ Scientist.   Conducts required training for hazardous waste site personnel. Directs the on-site activities of Assistant Associate and Senior Associate ESQ Scientists. Orders the shut down of site activities upon determining the presence of an imminent health and safety hazard. Maintains inventories of HS related equipment and supplies, including personal protective equipment and air monitoring equipment and supplies.  Assists project management in the implementation of the HASP and Corporate Programs and procedures under oversight of a PESM.  Keeps abreast of developments and interpretations of occupational health and safety standards and regulations.  Develops an understanding of the limitations, and advantages and costs of health and safety equipment, as well as new designs/equipment.
