Your background should be in commercial safety and loss prevention rather than a retail background.What you will do: - manage safety programs for cargo, staff, trucks, route drivers, etc - manage cargo losses for 5 of our branches - ensure employees are engaged in corporate training (and make it fun for them!) - conduct and document all safety and security related training - conduct security and safety audits - ensure compliance with corporate and industry related loss prevention policies - cargo loss and casualty investigations and reportsWhat you need: - Bachelors degree in criminal justice, business or a related field - lots of experience in safety in a commercial environment - 3+ years of experience in a safety, security, and training role - management experience - you must be able to travel up to 50% (this is an absolute must) - well developed team management skills - ability to implement new or revised corporate policies What's in it for you? - our company is stable and continues to grow - we offer an excellent salary, DOE - our benefits are very generousSo if you have a solid background in security, safety, and loss prevention in a busy commercial culture, send your resume today!Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
